DARREN LEVINE
US chief instructor of KRAV MAGA WORLDWIDE
Darren Levine stands as the revered founder of both the Krav Maga Association of America and Krav Maga Worldwide.
In 1981, Levine was one of the select few chosen to journey to Israel and train in the elite form of self-defense known as Krav Maga. His dedication and natural talent quickly caught the attention of Imi Lichtenfeld, the founder and mastermind behind Krav Maga. Over time, their bond grew stronger and they formed a close friendship, with Lichtenfeld even making the journey to Los Angeles to stay with Levine and continue their training together. In recognition of his mastery of Krav Maga, Lichtenfeld awarded Levine one of only two prestigious Founder's Diploma before his passing in 1998. Today, Levine holds the highest rank amongst instructors in the United States, boasting an impressive 8th degree black belt in Krav Maga.
Darren Levine is also a co-author of several influential books, including Complete Krav Maga, Black Belt Krav Maga, and Krav Maga for Beginners.
